The InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto is poised for a December 10 opening after completing a $40 million renovation. The Joseph Pang Design Studio married the historical aspects of the original two adjoining 19th century Romanesque and Gothic-style buildings with sharp, unexpected contemporary design. The 253-room is located in the city’s financial district and within walking distance of Melbourne’s major attractions, galleries, theatres, shopping and restaurants. The Rialto Towers Observation Deck is located next door to the hotel, offering panoramic views of the city. The InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto is open for bookings from December 10 with rooms available from $325.
