Travel Agent sat down with representatives of Couples Resorts Wednesday and learned that the all-inclusive company is looking into building on 38 acres of property it owns adjacent to the Harmony Cove development in Jamaica.
Harmony Cove, a multi-billion dollar development project, is expected to be one of the largest projects in the history of the destination and for Couples to get a property practically on the site would be very big news. Randall L. Russell, sales and marketing director of Couples, said the company is “looking into some sort of a land swap deal (with Harmony Cove developers)” and is planning for a 370-room resort to be built on the vacant land.
