Paradisus Palma Real, Paradisus Punta Cana Unaffected by Hurricane Ike

Paradisus Resorts' properties in the Dominican Republic, Paradisus Palma Real and Paradisus Punta Cana, have not suffered any damage in the wake of Hurricane Ike. Bernard Wyss, area vice president for Paradisus Resorts, made the announcement Wednesday. Hurricane Ike passed over the northern tip of the Dominican Republic Tuesday morning.

Both resorts remain completely operational, as they did throughout the weekend. Paradisus resorts’ emergency management teams remain prepared for hurricane season, which ends in November. All employees, from chefs to maintenance, including housekeeping, security and management teams are all trained to ensure guests are comfortable and secure, always keeping safety first.
