International Expeditions is celebrating Charles Darwin’s 200th birthday with free international air to Ecuador (up to $900 per person credit) on its January 2 and February 6, 2009 voyages to the Galapagos islands.
During the 10-day Galapagos cruise, guests get up close to see giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, sea lions, penguins, iguanas and many other animals as guides lead talks about the islands’ ecosystems.
The 32-passenger M/V Evolution navigates the islands, with spacious accommodations and a host of amenities including complimentary snorkeling equipment, wet suits and kayaks.
Per person prices for the 10-day Galapagos voyages departing January 2 and February 6 start at $4,998, including accommodations, most meals, local transportation, guides and group transfers. In-country flights from Guayaquil to the Galapagos Islands are not included. Guests on these sailings will reap an international airfare credit to cover the cost of flights (up to $900 per person) from their hometown to Guayaquil, Ecuador. International Expeditions can make all international airfare arrangements. If guests choose to book their own international air, the cost of their ticket— up to $900— will be deducted from the cost of the trip.
