Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has announced the reopening of the 264-room Sheraton Fiji Resort on Fiji’s Denauru Island following an extensive $22 million renovation. The six-month refurbishment project upgraded guest accommodations, restaurants and bars, and introduced new recreational facilities, including a 13,000 square-foot, lagoon-style swimming pool that includes a dedicated family-friendly area and quiet zone.
Rooms open onto private balconies or patios and feature the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed. The hotel’s renovated lobby space features the Link@Sheraton, a communications hub that includes complimentary Internet access. The resort has also launched Feast, a new buffet restaurant featuring dishes from around the world; Flying Fish, a seafood restaurant; and Pantry, a grab-and-go style deli.
