Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Opens First Mauritius Property

The Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita—the company’s first Mauritius property—has just opened. The resort is part of the Anahita World Class Sanctuary, a private mixed-use development that includes Private Residences and the Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita. The property borders one of Mauritius’ largest lagoons and the resort occupies its own stretch of coastline, extending across wooden bridges to encompass a private 11-acre island.

he resort has 123 Pool Villas and Residence Villas. Each villa has outdoor living spaces with an al fresco shower, verandah, plunge pool and private garden. Features at the resort include four dining options serving Southern French, Italian, Pan-Asian, and international cuisine, a secluded over-water spa with 12 treatment rooms on stilts, kids village with its own splash pool, bakery and theater, and a Young Adults Center. The resort is reached by a 30-minute airport transfer by speed boat.
