Tintswalo Lodges is preparing for the September 26 opening of their newest luxury South Africa lodge, the Tintswalo Atlantic in Capetown. The lodge is situated at the base of Chapman’s Peak in Hout Bay and offers views of Sentinel Peak.
Tintswalo Atlantic has 10 luxury suites and one Presidential Suite. Each suite is themed to reflect a South African island, such as Robben Island, Ithaca and Lamu. All suites are linked to the main lodge by a communal boardwalk. The main lodge includes a plunge pool and the restaurant has an open plan kitchen. Rates start at $884 per room now through April 30, 2009 and include accommodations, breakfast, tea and cake, house drinks and shuttled service. Children over 12 years are welcome in the Presidential Suite on a fully exclusive basis, but may not have dinner in the dining room after 6 p.m. Children over 17 are welcome in the main lodge and dinning room.
