Island of Providenciales in Turks & Caicos Re-Opens for Tourism

Providenciales in Turks and Caicos, has reopened for business after Hurricane Ike caused minor cosmetic and landscaping damage. While the southern cays of Grand Turk, Salt Cay and South Caicos were hit the hardest at a reported 80 percent damage to homes and businesses, this is not the case for Providenciales. Flights will resume Monday, September 15. Ocean Club Resorts was closed during the storm for scheduled annual renovations and will now re-open October 24.

The Turks & Caicos Government has declared a state of emergency for neighboring Grand Turk and South Caicos. Ocean Club Resorts will donate a portion of reservations made from October 24–December 21 to the TCI Red Cross for victims.

For reservations, please contact Ocean Club Resorts directly at (800) 457-8787, visit www.oceanclubresorts.com.
