Boca Raton Resort & Club Completes Renovation, Joins Waldorf=Astoria in 2009

Boca Raton Resort & Club has just completed a two-year, multi-phase $220 million renovation, which coincides with plans for the property to join the Waldorf=Astoria Collection next year.

The 1,047-room property has completed a series of enhancements and transformations that took place in phases and touched all areas of the property including new public spaces, restaurants, renovated and refurbished guest rooms and a new 24-hour Family Room. This fall, new food and beverage outlets include Morimoto sushi bar and Serendipity ice cream café.

The Boca Beach Club’s transformation includes a complete redesign of the entrance, lobby and reception area, guest rooms, fitness center, children’s activity center and restaurant, in addition to a newly designed pool area. Revamps also include a new oceanfront ballroom and additional event and meeting space. The Palm Court was also completed this spring.
